Warrior silver cuffs, shin guards, gold compass pendants, and Italian renaissance sundial rings were some of the Body Armor gear that K. Brunini Jewels strutted on the catwalk. Katey Brunini’s pieces were modeled as part of this year’s inspired theme: “Outside of our comfort zone” at the Telluride Aids Benefit. Her Body Armor embraces a new era of love, hope and survival which are perfect themes to be paired with the benefit. A reflection of strength, knowledge, protection and faith are what delighted our eyes for a good cause. The new Body Armor collection took wings at the 17th annual benefit.
The Telluride AIDS Benefit continues its mission of raising awareness in our local and regional communities about the global pandemic of HIV/AIDS. For more than a dozen years, the Telluride AIDS Benefit has donated over $1,000,000 to AIDS service organizations, a feat made possible on account of a vast range of sponsorships. www.aidsbenefit.org
The collaboration of LA fashion show producer, Scott Grossman, The Telluride Aids Benefit Board members, international fashion designers, local models and vendors like Dolce make this event a true grassroots movement! Much akin to Telluride’s open-minded attitude, the fashion show was filled with heart, soul, and abstract dance moves.
