Nature & The Art of The Goldsmith
A century of floral design in gold work

From Faberge to Tiffany, Van Cleef & Arpels, and local couture jeweler Katey Brunini of K. Brunini Jewels, independent curator and Faberge expert Timothy Adams will discuss the influence of flowers and nature on goldsmiths. Adams is Curatorial Consultant for the Devorative Arts department at the Bowers Museum, Faberge Historian for The San Diego Museum of Art’s 1989 Faberge: The Imperial Eggs exhibition, and has traveled the world telling the story of Faberge.

This program is presented as part of Art Alive 2015, The San Diego Museum of Art’s annual floral exhibition and signature fundraiser, taking place April 24-26, 2015.
