We are honored to announce that K. Brunini Jewels has been awarded the Women’s Jewelry Association’s (WJA) Fine Jewelry Designer of the Year. Katey Brunini and her team accepted this unparalleled honor last week at the WJA’s 28th Annual Awards of Excellence Gala at in New York City. Katey began her acceptance speech by thanking “the entire industry for this accolade” and warning them, “that this is just the beginning and there are many exciting things to come.”
Katey Brunini has dedicated the past 20 years to creating wearable art, handcrafted in California, her jewelry is inspired by nature, science, myth, and her own heart. Katey’s desire to soak in history, cultures and art forms burned from an early age and defining and honoring them in her work continues to be her passion.
